Mechanics
This event introduces two new script mechanics.
- Roll-Over - The Dust Pile NPCs are triggered with an OnTouch label but require no interaction to complete their script.
- NPC Duplication - This isn't a new concept, however the code that is introduced with this event allows the Dust Pile NPCs to be programatically generated to appear on random cells on maps within an array of arrays.
Akkarin is basically just showing off <3~
Items
Bottle of Dust
Description
"It's full to the brim with dust you've collected. Take it to Robertta, she'll know what to do!"
Event Monsters
No new monsters have been added for this event.
Quest
Robertta
Location:
Robertta is getting into the Spring Cleaning spirit! However, she is a little concerned about the state of Rune-Midgard and needs your help to collect all the dust that is laying all over the place.
Dust Piles have appeared in all Town and Field maps. On average, there are 5 per town map and 8 per field map. They have a variable respawn timer, so to collect as many as possible you should travel as many field maps as possible in-between visiting towns.
To collect the dust, you will need a Empty Bottle. As you pass the pile of dust on the floor you will scoop it up into the Empty Bottle. Walking within 2 cells of the dust pile will trigger the script and exchange an Empty Bottle with a Bottle of Dust. The Dust Pile will then vanish. The Dust Pile NPC cannot be camped.
